EDT Offshore and Phoenix International Holdings announces their participation in the successful location and recovery of the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) from Yemenia Flight IY626 that crashed upon its approach to the Moroni Airport on Comoros.
EDT Jane Launched
The EDT Jane was launched at Astilleros de Sevilla Shipyard on 20th August 2009.
The vessel has a length of 88.8m and a breadth of 19m. She is equipped with a cargo deck area of 985m² and accommodation for 23 people. The vessel, a DP2, will eventually be joined by an identical sistership which is currently under construction at the same yard.
The vessel is due for delivery in April 2010 ready for its first charter.
